Dave Eggers achieved fame and recognition for his award-winning memoir "A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius." His latest book is a sort of biography in novel form, about Valentino Achak Deng, a "lost boy" of Sudan who eventually made his way to America where the complicated story of his life continues. The book is written as an autobiography, and entitled "What is the What?"
